Viridian

Just released to market exclusively with The Prestbury Advisory, Viridian is Manchester’s latest luxury landmark development.

Situated between Manchester City Centre and Salford Quays, home of the BBC and ITV, the development comprises 85 attractive one and two-bedroom apartments, and one three-bedroom premium penthouse apartment overlooking the city centre.

Modern living, naturally inspired

A defining new landmark development in Manchester’s growing skyline, central to the design of Viridian, is the influence of nature.

Shaping the form of the building and inspiring the design of each spacious apartment, Viridian will create a new living experience that is an escape from the bustling city for its residents, where every detail has been considered to complement the development's surroundings.

Within the development, tenants will also benefit from high-end amenities, allowing them to escape and find a quiet retreat in the heart of the city.

Manchester’s modern revolution

Greater Manchester is unquestionably the UK’s strongest economic success story, thanks to its modern demographic and appeal to international businesses.

Since the last census, the city’s population has increased by 80,000, and the City Council expects the city centre alone will be home to 100,000 people by 2030. During this time, the number of businesses in Greater Manchester has also grown from 17,000 to 23,500, with numerous “unicorns” now accounting for more than £1bn of the region's economy, including AO.com, the Hut Group and Boohoo, proudly sitting alongside international giants like Amazon, Microsoft and HSBC.

These factors have contributed to the region now being regarded as the number one property market in the UK in Savills' recent Residential Property Market Forecast, with house prices in the area now projected to grow by 31.2% in the next 5 years.

Greater Manchester’s regeneration

The region's transformation can be seen in the city's new towering skyline, meeting Greater Manchester's ambitions, with billions of pounds being invested in various regeneration projects across the city.

Regent Park

A £1bn regeneration project, led by Henley Investment Management, on Regent Road in Salford, Regent Park, will again change the region's skyline and transform the region.

Featuring up to 3,300 new homes, a new public park, commercial and communal spaces, and on the UK’s tallest skyscrapers, the scheme aims to improve the city's infrastructure and connection to surrounding boroughs.

Victoria North

The largest regeneration scheme in the North West, Victoria North, will create thousands of homes to help meet the lack of housing needed in the region, along with new schools, healthcare facilities, transport links and green space.

Covering more than 150 hectares, the project will expand the city centre, growing Manchester’s footprint to match its international footprint.

MediaCityUK

Home of the BBC, ITV and more than 250 other media companies, as well as firms like Kellogg’s, MediaCityUK is one of the largest media and communication hubs in Europe, and a huge benefit to Europe.

Now, more than £1bn is being spent to double its size with 10 new major developments, bringing more office space and retail opportunities to the area. The first phase was a huge success, which saw jobs relocated from London and an outpouring of innovation in the region.
